  • Draft Rockdale Contributions Plan 2016 – Urban Renewal Area

    Untitled

Wolli Creek and the Bonar Street precinct are transforming a predominately industrial precinct into a high quality, high density urban environment for living, working and recreation. When complete, the Wolli Creek Redevelopment Area will be a vital community of some 15,700 residents and 3,000 workers.

To support the re-development of the Urban Renewal Area, significant augmentation and upgrading of existing infrastructure and public amenities is required. Infrastructure work commenced in 2002 and further local infrastructure will continue to be provided as re-development occurs.

Council has prepared a draft Section 94 Development Contributions Plan to apply exclusively to the urban renewal areas of Wolli Creek and the Bonar Street Precinct and invites the public to provide feedback on the proposal. Submissions are due by 4:30pm Friday 19 February 2016.
